Where do I begin ??? My name is Cabrielle and Sofia helped me with my labor for over 20 hours!!! I started going into active labor at 4 pm August 31st and didn't deliver my little Angel until September 1st at 1:57 pm . We started at Treasure Valley Midwives where I wanted to deliver. She helped set up the decorations I brought for the room as well as some of her decorations and essential oils that we talked about her bringing prior . She NEVER left our side . At the midwives clinic, Sofia applied hours of counter pressure and when I was in the bath , poured water over my back to help me . She spoke words of encouragement and gave me reassurance . At 11:50 we got the news that I needed to be transferred the hospital , which was terrifying and not in my birth plan. I forgot to mention she was at a birth prior for over 12 hours I believe and so this poor women hadn't really gotten any rest after the previous birth she had just attended but stayed in high spirits . We slept a little at the Hospital and she went home for a couple hours. She returned the next morning and was so positive . The room I was in had no AC and she was trying to help me In any way possible . Once she was born and my daughter had to be taken to NICU, she stayed with me so my boyfriend could be with our daughter . She brought me food and reassured me everything would be okay. Everything ended up working out and I got to hold my daughter and keep her with me after only being in NICU for an hour. Thankful for her love and support and when I have another child she will be the first one I call for support . She was amazing all through the pregnancy and I wouldn't reccomend ANYONE else . Sofia was an amazing addition to my birth support. She helped guide me through the challenging parts of labor and the curveballs that can happen. I would've been lost without her guidance to me and my husband before and during labor and delivery

Having Sofia as my doula made my birth experience such a wonderful one. I had already had one hospital birth and one unmediated birth when I became pregnant with my third. I had always thought that hiring a doula wasn't necessary because I could just get support from my spouse or midwives. While this is true, I got more than I ever imagined hiring Sofia for this pregnancy. She helped me mentally and emotionally prepare for my birth, and kept me thinking positive even when complications arose.

Sofia was incredibly intuitive during my pregnancy and birth. She knew when to step in and encourage me and gave me complete peace of mind knowing that I was supported and capable of achieving the birth I hoped for.

The entire process would not have gone as smooth if it wasn't for her, and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

I have known Sofia for more than 20 years. She has a passion for families, babies, parents, and the all around health of all. Sofia is caring, kind, and thoughtful. I took her birth education class and it helped me ask many questions that I would have not asked otherwise. Where do I start about my experience with Sophia. Initially I was skeptical about having a doula it felt like one more thing to do. However I could not have envisioned my birth experience without Sophia. Sophia helped me throughout the labor process and delivery of my sweet boy. She prepared me and helped me write my birth plan but more importantly helped my spouse and I be on the same page. She invited conversation supported by facts and was welcoming to our wishes. She gave us tools for pain management and practiced them with us before the birth. During the birth she helped me to progress through support and positioning and advocated for my needs. She helped with holistic pain management. She was positive and a guiding light. I do not think I would have tolerated a unmedicated birth if it was not for Sophia. After the birth her work is not done she is supportive checking in on me and helped me process my experience. Thank you Sophia!

My husband and I were recommended to hire a Doula by the Midwives at our Birth Center. Prior to my pregnancy, I had never even heard of a Doula or why anyone would need one during labor and delivery. Since this was my first baby and I wanted to do a water birth, which meant no pain medications, we decided to take the Midwives advice and found a few Doulas to interview. We instantly connected with Sofia and chose her to be our Doula. She was so kind and easy to talk to and truly cared about giving us the best birth experience while ensuring our birth plan would be followed. We met with Sofia a couple times at our house to get to know each other and she explained and demonstrated the different positions and techniques that would be used to ease my labor pain. She helped boost my confidence about doing a natural birth and I knew early right away that we had made the right choice by hiring her.



Two days before our baby was born, Sofia's family tested positive for Covid-19 and she was devastated. She called me in tears saying that she would be unable to be there for the birth of our daughter. She assured us that our birth plan would still be followed by her back up Doula and that we were still in good hands. We were sad that Sofia couldn't be there but she communicated with her back up throughout my entire labor and delivery for updates. Her backup took very good care of us.



Sofia came over about a week after our daughter was born to meet her, to check on me, and talk about my birth experience. She brought over the most amazing meal for my husband and I that consisted of shepherd's pie, salad, rolls, and delicious brownies for dessert. Sofia is an amazing woman and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Doula.
